With her beautiful expression, graceful movement, and luxurious coat, Ruby embodies the timeless elegance of the Rough Collie. Her calm confidence and affectionate personality make her an exceptional companion, whether she’s playing outside, supervising daily activities, or snuggling up for a quiet evening at home. Ruby is a naturally attentive and nurturing mother who passes on her kind temperament, intelligence, and playful spirit to her puppies. Health and temperament are our highest priorities, and she has undergone genetic testing to help ensure we are producing healthy, well-rounded puppies that will thrive as beloved family members. Raised in our home and cherished as part of our family, Ruby’s puppies receive early socialization, plenty of love, and daily interaction from the very beginning. Meet Elijah – Our Handsome and Gentle Sire Elijah is a stunning AKC Rough Collie with a sweet, affectionate personality and the classic intelligence and loyalty the breed is known for. He is calm, confident, and happiest when he’s with his family, whether he’s exploring the outdoors or relaxing at our feet. He has a beautiful full coat, excellent structure, and a gentle expression that turns heads wherever he goes. More importantly, Elijah has a wonderful temperament—friendly with people, patient with children, and easygoing around other dogs. His eagerness to please and intuitive nature make him a joy to live with and a wonderful representative of the breed. Health and quality are a priority in our breeding program. Elijah has undergone genetic testing and is carefully paired to produce puppies with sound temperaments, excellent health, and the classic beauty of the Rough Collie. As a cherished member of our family, Elijah passes on his loving disposition, intelligence, and playful spirit to his puppies. Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2 (rcd2), Dermatomyositis, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
