I'm Brendi S., the breeder behind Lonestar Creek Farm located in Westport, KY. With over a decade of breeding experience, my passion is raising happy, healthy doxies. Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by animals, kids and plenty of love. Health testing, early socialization and lifelong breeder support are just a few of the things that set out program apart.

Brendi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Brendi partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“This price includes CKC or AKC registration, microchip, first two vet visits/vaccines, 30 days pet insurance, familiar toys, current puppy food, collar with microchip ID tag, treats and puppy bag 💗. Deposit is half of total puppy purchase price, due when babies are one week old.”

About Pandora
Pandora is very reserved and more likely to be found playing with a toy by herself or snuggled deep inside a comforter somewhere in the house. Pandora is very laid back and bottom of the "totem pole" as far as heiarchy. She is a small/medium sized miniature female and her puppies tend to follow suit! Known to produce gorgeous dapples!

About Missy Mae
Missy was our first ever female! She is an exemplary mother and raises the most beautiful babies, she’s takes her job very seriously. Missy is an around amazing dog, she loves to anything as long as she’s with her person. Outgoing and friendly, she hasn’t met a stranger she hasn’t liked. An amazing prey drive and great call skills. She listens and obeys commands the first time given. She loves snuggling under any blanket or lap available but prefers her moms above all else. She loves car rides and goes horse camping regularly. She has grown up with dogs of various sizes, children of all ages, cats, birds and livestock. Missy has amazing quality teeth and overall is very healthy. She will be retiring in the next year, which I’m sure she will continue to midwife for her fellow weenie sisters 💕

About Gator
Gator tater is the sweetest and most laid back guy like his brother Georgie. He prefers to snuggle and give kisses. Not a huge fan of anything to do with outside other than shoving his nose anywhere he sees fit. This guy I’ve never heard bark, he doesn’t get too excited about much other than giving the love. Go with the flow, he doesn’t care what you do with him, he just loves it all. So gentle with babies and is the best babysitter to all of the puppies

About Daisy
Daisy Duke is a very tiny girl, weighing in a soaking wet 8 pounds! She is SO sweet and outgoing. Her hair grows so thick, we call her little grinch because of her feet! Daisy has a high prey drive but is still great with all other animals! Very loyal and very sweet, she is an amazing companion and loves to spend her days in the kiddie pool with my two year old and eating homemade popsicles at the picnic table. Daisy goes everywhere with us, so she is very well socialized.

Val is a total sweetheart! She’s a new momma and absolutely adores being one! Acting like a seasoned girl, she tends to her babies with the upmost importance. Quiet and obedient, she is very mellow and loves to adventure outside. Camping is one of her favorite things along with checking the fence perimeter for any intruders. Valentine is an amazing companion and has never met a stranger!

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Working with Brendi was an amazing experience. As a first-time dog owner, I spent a lot of time searching for the right dachshund breeder, and I’m so glad I found her. Bear (formerly “Jack”) is sweet, goofy, brave, and very smart. He graduated puppy class, is starting his next soon, and was both potty trained and crate trained within just two days of coming home. He’s also amazing with people and other dogs. He also enjoys nature and a good swim! You can tell Brendi truly focuses on temperament and early care. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend her!

Brendi was so incredible to work with! She answered every question promptly and shared pictures of Beau as he was growing. It's easy to tell how much she loves this breed and her four legged family. I've had many puppies during my life but hands down Beau has been the very best and I give all that credit to Brendi for raising him socialized and loved. He is a confident little guy and he was already kennel and pad trained which I can't begin to express how much easier that made my life. I would highly recommend a puppy from Brendi!

We love our dogs from Brendi more than anything on this earth! Our girls are absolute perfection. We picked up our first baby from Brendi a year ago, and came back for more a few weeks ago. Both times we were on a delayed schedule for pick-up, and Brendi agreed to hold onto our girl until we could get there, even though it was days or weeks past the "go home" date. But she made coordinating easy, and gave these babies the best start. I cannot emphasize enough what great dogs we have because of Brendi! They are each the actual best, and we are completely in love. They're smart as can be, easy to train, sociable, friendly, excellent on plane trips and car rides, always up for an adventure, and just the best snugglers at the end of the day. Honestly so happy we got our girls here! Our family is complete!
