I'm Lizzie A., the breeder behind Zia Trail Doxies located in New Mexico. We raise our puppies with total care and attention so they can become well-socialized and loving additions to their forever homes. We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow and develop their own unique personalities. We can’t wait for you to meet your next loving and loyal companion!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate, fawn (isabella), brindle, fawn (isabella) and cream, blue and cream, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, fawn (isabella) and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Basset Hound puppies include black and brown, tan and white, white black and red, mahogany and white, brown and white, black white and tan, black tan and white, black brown and white, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Lizzie

Lizzie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lizzie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

Lizzie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
