Meet the breeder

I'm Caitlin F., the breeder behind Long Dogs in The Falls located in Wichita Falls, TX. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! Each of our dogs has brought happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well.

Q. & A. with Caitlin

  • Why did you start breeding?

I adopted a dachshund when I was 17 and she was my best friend and absolute love of my life for the 9 years we had together. Working at a veterinary hospital for 6 years I only fell more and more in love with the breed. With the help of other breeders as well as guidance from the doctors I worked for I entered the breeding world. I’ve also continued to be in vet med going on 9 years.
  • What makes your program special?

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! My dogs make my life infinitely better by being in it. Bubba wakes me up first thing in the morning when my alarm goes off with lots of kisses! Holly loves going out on the town with me running Errands and shopping! Heidi is fiercely loyal, she loves her family so much-the vaccum, not so much. Posie is a lover. She goes wherever you go. Baker is my little leg boy. Always between my legs where he nestles in to sleep as well. One of my favorite parts of the day is feeding time. I just love to watch and hear them lapping up their food. I love my dogs, I love my puppies, and I love their new families!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
