I'm Patricia C., the breeder behind Long Valley Labradors located in Long Valley, NJ. We raise quality puppies bred for health, intelligence, and temperament. Our dogs come from hunting lines and have obedience and therapy titles. Puppies are raised with love in our home. We strive to help each one grow up with confidence. They are affectionate, intelligent, and healthy as can be!

Why did you start breeding?
As a parent, educator, & animal-lover, I have an appreciation for the bonds that form when bringing a Labrador retriever into your family. My 1st Lab came into my life 40 years ago. She became my friend helping me through some difficult times. Over the years, other labs have shared their lives with us. I chose to breed Labradors to share the joy they brought to our family & can bring to yours.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because we raise our pups in our home. We love our dogs as part of our family. Our program is small so we can pay attention to our pups from the minute they are born, to the day they join their furever homes. We also offer forever support. All of our dogs have extensive health-testing, and training. They are well-socialized (with the help of our grandchildren).What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Dilute Retriever puppies are charcoal. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"The price includes AKC registration papers, health certificate and guarantee, first puppy shots, and forever support. Deposit reserves "puppy pick." Applied to total price. Non-refundable, however could be applied to a future litter."

Litter update on 22 June 2025 •…The perfect “starter” puppy!! Mickey is 12 weeks old, a smart, healthy pup, ready for his own family and new adventures. He has learned to sit and settle. He is playful and loves to cuddle. Does well with children and other dogs. He has had two sets of shots (including rabies). We will only consider a special, caring home for this extra special, smart, healthy, and sociable boy.

Stunning, super-sweet temperment, loving/affectionate, people-pleasing family dog. Extremely calm and gentle. Khaleesi has her CGC AKC title. Khaleesi loves to play and loves her people even more. We own her mom, Cinder, who is from working/hunt parents. Khaleesi's dad- Tuck, is a therapy dog.

Rosie is a fox-red rockstar. She is the most obedient, intelligent dog. Rosie has AKC hunt, obedience, and trick dog titles. She trained at Weller Kennels, New Bern, NC. and is out of Stonewater Kennel's Master Hunter Ragnar and our Cinder. Rosie loves her people and loves to please them even more.

Super-sweet, people-loving, loyal, obedient, "perfect" family dog. Cinder's parents both hold AKC Master Hunter titles. Cinder holds AKC obedience and trick dog titles. She is dual registered- AKC & UKC. Her puppies have the absolute best temperments for anything you want them to be.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Long Valley Labradors and Patricia are amazing. This was our first puppy/dog and after lots of research we decided to bring Levi home. He has been nothing short of everything we could ask for.
