Our dogs are an integral part of our lives. We raise them as a cohesive part of our family from day one to ensure that they’ll make the best and most versatile companions to your family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Growing up my mom bred Persian Cats, so I’ve always had interest in raising animals. I have had a few breeds of dogs but Shih Tzus have my heart! I want to bring joy to other families by producing puppies with health and temperament in mind.

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise our puppies in the home where my 3 kids help in caring for them and socializing. They are exposed to lots of noise and different things. We put a lot of time and effort into our puppies.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include liver and white and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ashley

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $550 - $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price will include registration, first shots, vet check, dewormed, socialization and all that goes into raising the puppy. We also make goodie bags for all our puppies for the easiest transition. Deposits are non refundable, but are transferable.”

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Everything has gone so well either way our little pups. We named them Ruthie and Sally. They are happy, rambunctious little things and are healthy and growing well. We could tell that the Lopez Family had done a good job socializing the pups in their first weeks because they love everyone they meet—especially kids—and they’re not fearful when we try new things. Also, Ashley had trained them on the litter box, so while they’re doing very well going potty outside, if the can’t wait or at night they just use the litter box. That was a life changing tip! I highly recommend Lopez Family Tails. These little shihtzu pups are smart, happy dogs. I also recommend getting two because they are comforting to each other and the love to wrestle!!

    Ashley was very fast to respond and easy to work with. I love my beautiful puppy. The most perfect puppy in every way. Also the puppy already knew to only pee on the pew pads. Amazing.
