Meet the breeder

I'm Vayle I., the breeder behind Lorelei Legends located in North Salt Lake, UT. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, beauty and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Q. & A. with Vayle

  • Why did you start breeding?

Not only do I love my breed, but my OCD (call it "attention to detail") makes pouring over pedigrees, health results and DNA reports into something I actually enjoy. Making the best matches and producing the best puppies I can is very rewarding! Seeing how happy my puppy families are also makes me happy.
  • What makes your program special?

I think that it's pretty cool that my puppies are so gorgeous - when temperament and health are where I start - it's cool to see how absolutely beautiful the puppies are as well!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I am so thankful I found Vayle! She was super helpful and from the moment we first talked, I could tell she genuinely cared about the puppies and who they would end up with. She was always available to answer my questions and was incredibly helpful in ensuring I was able to get my puppy safely to another country! I am so in love with my little girl. She has the best temperament, she’s so smart and I’ve already lost count of how many people tell me how beautiful she is!
