My dogs and puppies are lovingly raised in my home as part of my family so I can prepare them to be wonderful additions to yours. I do everything I can to ensure my puppies have what they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

I cannot speak highly enough of Lost Acres Collies. We got our puppy in hopes of her being a medical alert dog - she exceeded our expectations with natural instincts for scent work and alerts! Our collie is such a good girl with the friendliest, most affectionate, social, gentle, and smart personality - I swear she speaks English. She is such a fast learner and so sensitive in the best way. We will definitely be going with Lost Acres Collies for all our future collies. Most recently, Indigo received a Shining Star certificate from the Collie Club of America recognizing her work as a collie service dog!

Christy has been such a kind a knowledgeable person to work with. You can tell she really loves her dogs. She was very willing to answer any questions. I loved seeing the litter updates. You got a real feel for how loved and well cared for her puppies are. My husband and I drove down to AR to pick up our puppy. Christy met us at our hotel with Adele and the litter mother, DD. She provided us food, water, a leash, harness, bowls, and a toy, along with vet records. Far more than I expected and I am very grateful. Adele is a very happy, healthy puppy and I'm looking forward to sharing many great adventures with her.

We had a great experience with Christy and Lost Acres Collies. We got our dog, Sadie, a little over a year ago and she has been the best dog for kids. She is so patient with my littlest (4 years old now) and fun and playful with my older kids. Sadie is very smart and super sensitive to everyone around her. This made her fairly easy to train. She loves a walk, but is not a super hyper dog by any means. I do think a well bred collie, like Sadie, is a perfect family dog, and I’m not even a dog person (my kids did a lot of begging). Besides breeding very gentle, smart and sweet dogs, Lost Acres collies are also just beautiful to look at— we regularly get lots of compliments on what a pretty dog Sadie is. Christy was easy to work with and answered all our questions. Initially after we got her, she was also helpful with advice for basic care, etc for Sadie (Sadie was our first dog and we needed some advice!). She was very patient with all of our questions! I would definitely recommend one of Christie’s collies to anyone looking for one!

Working with Christy was smooth and easy, from pre-birth to delivery. Updates were nice and informative. My Puppy is healthy, sweet, and fearless. I could not be happier. It is obviously that Christy loves this breed and what she is doing. I would buy from her again- and hope to!
