I'm Louis' L., the breeder behind Louis' Litters located in Fort Worth, TX. Mini Dachshunds are our passion! Fully socialized and personality PLUS! Many of our families come back for another family member! Living on a working cattle ranch we work with each litter. Mamas are feed homemade food with beef from our cattle operation and vegetables right out of our own garden. 🌻 puppies are raised inside the home 🌻 early neurological stimulation from birth 🌻 puppy culture program 🌻 sleeping in a crate at 4 weeks 🌻 Potty pad trained in their play pen and trained to a doggy door🌻 First vaccinations at 6 weeks 🌻 routine deworming 🌻daily love, treats & home-made meals We are located in Arkansas and are in Fort Worth, TX 2-3 times a month.   • Why did you start breeding?

    Fell in love with mini doxies and haven't looked back. From their adorable toes to the wag of that happy tail. We absolutely love them.

  • What makes your program special?

    We work hard to socialize our babies. They are raised right inside with us. Our dogs are part of our family. Future parents are screened, and we work hard to match up the perfect baby to the best home. Our dogs are worked with and loved each day. AKC certified. Many of our families come back for another family member!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, brindle, gray (blue) and tan, chocolate and tan, black and cream, gray (blue) and cream, black and tan, chocolate and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Louis'

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $4,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Our experience with Louis’ Litters was the perfect place for us. We had owned a Dashaund many years after our son was living in an apartment at Baylor. He hadn’t shared that he and his roommate both had puppies. One was Michelob and the other was a Dashaund, Jackson. Since they were being kicked out of the apartment, we inherited our first Dashaund.     I cant say enough about this breeder. I reached out about a specific puppy and she was VERY responsive. I asked about a million questions and she was more than willing to answer all the questions that I had. She even personally flew my new little guy from Arkansas to Denver.     Louis' Litters was very responsive to all my queries and flexible in where to pick puppy up! We took him for his first checkup and the vet announced a clean bill of health and that he was a good-looking weenie. She was pleased that he was up-to-date on all his required puppy vaccinations and taken care of. (As were we!) We have named him Chocolate Chip, and he is bright, inquisitive, and a very handsome dachshund! He has settled in with our blonde wire-haired weenie very well!
