+4Caramel went home with me on January 7. 2026. I saw her listed and knew, after almost 4 years of searching, that she was the dog for me. I had raised 3 collie puppies before, and I was looking for an adult to bring home. She is as sweet as her name, and one of the best-natured dogs I have ever had. She began bonding with me the first day. She is smart and patient in terms of learning about my other dog, a rather dominating little terrier mix. But soon Caramel was putting her in her place (size matters!) and reaching out to play with her 'puppy'. I swear I witnessed their first 'nose greeting' this morning! Thanks to Sue and Lovely Heart Collies for raising this wonderful dog.

+6I really wanted a collie puppy and I wasn't having any luck with any local or collie rescues. So I signed up with Good Dog to help me find my new best friend. I live in Pennsylvania and wanted to find a puppy near me. But there were no puppies to be found here. One day I got a notification for a puppy in New Mexico. I fell in love with her puppy, Christoff. Coincidentally, I have relatives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. So what a better way to visit them. So I contacted Sue and after talking with her, I made my flight reservations to visit with my niece and pick up my puppy. Sue even said she would drive about 3 hours to my niece's house to drop off my puppy. It was easy to work with Good Dog. They walk you thru step by step what needs to be done. I felt very secure making my payments thru Good Dog's payment process. I am so glad I got to connect with Sue. She was wonderful to work with. She cares alot about her dogs. She kept me updated on his appointments and his results afterwards. I am just thrilled and happy with Christoff. His new name is now Harley. He has a wonderful personality. He is such a happy and friendly puppy. Thank you to Sue for his first 3 months bringing him up in a wonderful environment. This is an early Christmas present for me and it couldn't be any better.
