I'm Rebecca and Larry E., the breeder behind LovelylilDoxies located in El Dorado, AR. We love dachshunds & strive to share breed knowledge with fellow dachshund enthusiasts! We strive to ensure the health & well-being of our doxies breed to the CHIC OFA AKC DCA standards. It’s our priority to make sure each family welcomes a healthy member into their homes with a healthy foundation.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My journey into breeding began with a lifelong obsession with dachshunds. Growing up with these adorable weenie dogs started a passion! My family and I, share this adoration. Our dachshunds are our babies and this deep-rooted love led us to start LovelylilDoxies, where we focus on breeding for health, conformation, and temperament to AKC standards and far beyond!     At LovelylilDoxies, we prioritize health through our comprehensive genetic program. Following AKC Canine College and beyond. A Showman, Preferred Breeder and AKC Breeder of HEART. Also Red Cross, AKC, and Good Dog certified. Our dachshunds are cherished family members. We ensure they go to perfect homes through our own process.   • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, cream, red, brindle, black and cream, black and tan, and chocolate and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rebecca and Larry

Rebecca and Larry has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Rebecca and Larry partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We prescreen buyers. We use application processes as well as FaceTime interviews. We take the future homes of our babies serious. As well as our genetically guided breeding program. If a program doesn’t do genetic testing, run. After approval, then we consider your match to the puppies attributes. We also consider specific dates and pick up times into the matching process as well.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

We enjoyed all the pupdates and FaceTime calls as well and the fact that he was willing to fly our pup to us was invaluable.     I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Rebecca & Larry. We had been looking for quite some time for a puppy to join our family but something was always off. After finding GoodDog (that’s how we found LovelyLilDoxies), we were expecting it to take time. After many disappointing conversations with other breeders, we found Larry & Rebecca. Like all the other profiles, they talked about health, and the dogs and puppies being part of their family. Larry & Rebecca were the only ones that could back up what they said. I noticed a health record wasn’t in one of the parent’s files and Larry immediately sent it over to me (during a layover!) The application was reviewed and answered in a timely manner, as were all questions (and that was even before we reserved our puppy!) You can absolutely tell that breeding these pups is a passion and love, for the whole family! When we did reserve our puppy, we were sent pictures and notes for updates, and any time he went to the vet we received updates. Transitioning the records to our vet was also seamless & were there (digitally) before our first appointment. From our first phone call, to video chats, to texting (all on the GoodDog app) conversations were easy and it was like talking to old friends. They are knowledgeable, caring and are willing to both teach but also learn what they don’t know. Now that we have our puppy home, it seems weird that we were ever without him! I will ABSOLUTELY be suggesting LovelyLilDoxies to anyone looking for a sweet puppy to join their home & should we be looking for another puppy to join ours, looking for their litters first!

    Our experience with LovelylilDoxies has been nothing short of wonderful! From the first conversation through bringing our puppy home, communication was excellent and we always felt like we were in great hands. The breeder was kind, knowledgeable, and clearly puts a lot of love and effort into raising their puppies. Our 12-week-old miniature Dachshund has already exceeded our expectations. She is incredibly intelligent, sweet, and adjusting to her new home so well. She is doing amazingly with crate training and has already made great progress with potty training.
