I'm Rebecca and Larry E., the breeder behind LovelylilDoxies located in El Dorado, AR. We love dachshunds & strive to share knowledge with fellow dachshund enthusiasts! We strive to ensure the health & well-being of our doxies & breed to the AKC standard and Canine College. It’s our priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy & healthy new member into their homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My journey into breeding began with a lifelong obsession with dachshunds. Growing up with these adorable weenie dogs started a passion! My family and I, share this adoration. Our dachshunds are our babies and this deep-rooted love led us to start LovelylilDoxies, where we focus on breeding for health, conformation, and temperament to AKC standards and far beyond!     At LovelylilDoxies, we prioritize health through our comprehensive genetic program. Following AKC Canine College and beyond. A Showman, Preferred Breeder and AKC Breeder of HEART. Also Red Cross, AKC, and Good Dog certified. Our dachshunds are cherished family members. We ensure they go to perfect homes through our own process.   • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, brindle, black and cream, black and tan, and chocolate and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

"Each LovelylilDoxies puppy comes with a Health Guarantee, AKC registration and AKC Reunite microchip prepaid, health exam, vaccinations, and worming. Puppypak included. Raised with cats, kids and k9s! A Puppy Deposit is to lock in your selected puppy and goes towards the total amount owed. It is not mandatory and the minimum deposit is $300 they are nonrefundable. We don’t have time for timewasters."

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease (MMVD), DNA Disease Panel, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, Genetic Diversity Test, DNA Coat/Trait Panel, Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), Animal Genetics Panel, GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing, Full Embark Panel, DNA Profile

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We found LovelylilDoxies on Good Dog and as many probably would be, we were skeptical of purchasing a pup online as you never know if people will be honest with you BUT Larry and Rebecca were AMAZING! Their professionalism, knowledge and care of the pups, and readiness really made this a smooth and stress-free experience as we are now loving and cuddling our brand new baby just a few short days later. They were prompt in responding to all messages and answering all of the questions we had in preparation of receiving our little girl. They did an FaceTime with us at the beginning of the process which really eased any concerns we had going into this process. Although the process requires a lot on their end, they made it their goal to get our puppy to us as soon as they could as they knew we couldn’t wait to meet her. She is so sweet and very well behaved! She does very well so far with potty training and doesn’t fret her kennel as they mentioned she had already began training in both. Proving their honesty and hard work throughout this process really made us feel great as buyers as it can be a nerve-racking experience going into it. They met with us at a half way point to transfer our puppy to us and they provided food, treats, leash/collar, a cute blanket (with her scent to ease her transition) and toys which shows how much they truly care about their pups going to a good home. They have continued to keep in touch since the transfer to see how our puppy is doing and answering any questions we have now that she is here. They have been very prompt with sending over all the paperwork ensuring that we have everything we need to own our brand new puppy. It was truly a great experience and anyone would be lucky to receive a puppy from #LovelylilDoxies 😄

    We had a wonderful experience purchasing our miniature dachshund, Betty, from Larry and Rebecca. From the very beginning, we had lots of questions, and Larry was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. It’s very clear that Larry and Rebecca genuinely love their puppies and take excellent care of them. Betty came home already started on crate training and potty training, which made the transition so much easier for our family. She is also very well socialized and comfortable with other people and dogs.     Larry and Rebecca (and parents Ricky and Marcy) have bred a wonderful dog, Peter (formerly Petrie). He is so sweet, extremely adorable, incredibly intelligent, and very doting. He has brought so much joy into mine & my families life & is a highly sought after prize among friends visiting my home. He is calm, a little stubborn as expected, very playful, stable, and very affectionate. I have had a dachshund before but never an AKC dachshund. This experience, with all of its learnings, has been very enjoyable for me. Getting Peter was seamless: the responses and answers to my MANY questions were immediate, the comfort & welcoming nature of Larry in wanting to share whatever he could & get on a phone call + facetime the same day as my inquiry, the speed at which Larry & Rebecca moved to schedule Peter’s drop off at an airport between them & my home, and the ease of obtaining contracts and all required records. I have spoken to a few other breeders on Good Dog prior to landing on Peter & while many are attentive, responsive, and kind - Larry and Rebecca stood out for their passion, knowledge, & honor to the dachshund breed. As other reviews truthfully share, they continue to be responsive & supportive after you get your puppy which makes the experience even more meaningful.
