I'm Christina M., the breeder behind Loyal Shih Tzu located in Peoria, AZ. I have 3 females and 1 male that I breed at any given time. They are my pets/family members. All of our Shih Tzus are registered with AKC. We offer Full AKC option, Puppy Cam Check ins, Weekly development updates and so much more. We only breed standard size (9-14 lbs).

Why did you start breeding?
One Shih Tzu lead to 4 Shih Tzus all registered with AKC. I researched AKC standards and saw my dogs met those standards. I looked into the pedigrees I was given from the breeders and saw good lineage. We thought maybe more good people could use some Shih Tzu Miracles in there life, like we had in ours. We have been breeding since 2019 and only breed AKC Standard Sized Registered Shih Tzus.What makes your program special?
We aren't sure how we are special over other local breeders of purebred AKC Shih Tzus... In groups and forums they have all been knowledgible, kind and helpful. We want to be the same, but smaller. This is not our job, this is just something we do sometimes to help the world by breeding Shih Tzus to standards. We are becoming known for our "Puppy Photo Shoots" and Live Puppy Cam options.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include gold, red, black and white, red and white, gold and white, brindle and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Christina
Christina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Christina partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“After a breeder evaluation, the puppies that are available will be listed. Seller does have a Wait list of families waiting that get notified prior to puppies posted. After buyers are evaluated and they have met the available puppy a deposit is made, only then is the puppy no longer available and reserved”
Price
“Total $ Includes: AKC folder with AKC registration application, Breeder folder (puppy development info), puppy starter kit full of goodies. Video Chats and a Live Puppy Cam is also available. Deposit is non refundable. Once Deposit is placed, puppy is on hold until 9 weeks old. The deposit is subtracted from Final Price. Balance is Due at Puppy Pickup.”

After going through a terrible experience with another breeder in California, I reached out to Christina regarding her new litter, specifically Yumi. Christina at Loyal Shih Tzu was very informative, set up a puppy cam so I could see Yumi daily, sent updates with photos every tuesday and informational emails regarding Yumi's health updates as well as food, potty training and many other resources for new puppy parents. I am unable to send a photo at this time but Fay is doing well. She has tackled the stairs, can sit on command now and is very vocal when she wants something. Her vet appointment went great. There was absolutely no concerns. She is cute and sassy. I love her so much!
