I'm Teresa K., the breeder behind Loyal Tzu's located in Joplin, MO. Loyal Tzu’s is a small, in-home Shih Tzu breeding program where our puppies are raised with lots of love and even more snuggles. These babies don’t just grow up in our home—they grow up in our hearts… and usually end up in our beds by 8 weeks!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I am still very much learning, and I’m thankful to have my daughter, Savannah of Spots & Spirals, guiding me along the way. Her knowledge and support have helped me grow in this journey.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes my program special is that my puppies are truly raised in my home as part of my everyday life. They develop the biggest, sweetest personalities and are always loving and playful. By the time they leave, they’ve already learned my routine, started going outside to potty, and even know how to get my attention.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Teresa

Teresa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Teresa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I highly recommend Teresa at Loyal Tzu’s if you are looking for a Shih Tzu puppy. We live over 8 hours away so picking a puppy you cannot meet in person is scary. Teresa was very responsive and willing to video-call a few times so I was able to see my puppy, his siblings and their parents interact. Theo definitely came from a loving, clean home and my husband and I are completely in love.
