I'm Kendra B., the breeder behind Lukaru located in Jerusalem, OH. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families! Puppies come socialized to small children, cats, chickens, and cows.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are focusing on producing balanced, confident Shelties who can do anything. I want to be able to take my dog from farm to city and have them be comfortable and confident in themselves. I am hoping to help disabled handlers match up to their best match puppy.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kendra

Kendra has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC and UKC registration, lifetime breeder support, primary vaccinations, microchips, socialization, and a care package.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kendra may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Full Embark Panel, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
