Luna’s Mini Aussies

Meet the breeder

I'm Megan S., the breeder behind Luna’s Mini Aussies located in Amarillo, TX. Each puppy is unique in his or her own way, we like to match personalities/temperaments/ and energy levels with the families it would fit in the best. We are handling our pups from birth pup and they are exposed to other animals and children as well.

Q. & A. with Megan

  • Why did you start breeding?

Growing up we bred cutting horses, and my mom had French bulldogs she bred. In 2017 I went and picked up my first aussie out of Oklahoma and wanted to build a program of my own around the mini aussie breed. Over the years I have learned a lot and will continue to learn and better my program and the puppies we produce.
  • What makes your program special?

We cherish all of our dogs and the puppies they produce. We love hearing from the families after they bring their puppy home. Once you get a puppy from us the communication doesn’t stop will forever be apart of our mini aussie family.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle and red tri-color. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, red merle, red, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
