I'm Melita W., the breeder behind LUV Poodles and Maltipoos located in Lawrenceburg, TN. My dogs are bred with a focus on good health and socialization. They are handled from birth and introduced to a variety of people, other dogs, cats, and engaging toys for play. They are either AKC or CKC and up to date on shots and deworming. Non-shedding, Hypoallergenic, and Pad trained.

Why did you start breeding?
I am a retired Army Chaplain wife, raised with animals as a child. When we retired I began breeding a registered Katahdin sheep herd of 80 but my primary love has always been dogs. My main love is poodles because they're smart, athletic, loving, and not yappy. All the brilliance of a Border Collie without the intense drive. After Covid I became allergic to dog dander so they're my perfect breed.What makes your program special?
All of my parents or grandparents of moms I've raised are Embark tested. It's critical that I know I'm not breeding a health problem a few years down the line. My puppies are well socialized with a variety of people and exterior stimulus, from parents that have exceptional personalities. My goal is to find the best fit for puppy and family for a lifetime bond.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Maltipoo puppies include parti and red. Poodle puppies include apricot, brown, red, silver-beige, white, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Melita has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes registration application, age appropriate puppy shots, deworming records and instruction flyer. Puppy comes with a gift bag including food, toy, mom's scent cloth, and a potty pad. Each individual litter is priced the same regardless of sex or color. Deposit is nonrefundable.”

Mazda is six pounds of cuddle. The premier lapdog, her winning personality shines. Both sweet and spicy, Mazda hits the yard running (hence her name, zoom-zoom) wrestling and playing. She is a loving little lap dog.
