Meet the breeder

I'm Megan F., the breeder behind Luxe Yorkshire Terriers located in Eatonville, WA. We select our Yorkies, not only because of their excellent bloodlines, but for the sweet natures they have. Our dogs have adorable faces, are healthy and sturdy as well as smart and even tempered. Having an adorable looking dog is nice, but we breed to add a great temperament to the good looks as well.

Q. & A. with Megan

  • Why did you start breeding?

It's really my Mom's fault...she began breeding our Yorkie female when I was young and the joy of having those adorable puppies around was something I really missed. I partnered with my long-time friend Stacy in continuing the tradition. Stacy and I decided to work together with our website, breeding (we co-own some of the Yorkies), and grooming. It's really turned out to be a lot of fun.
  • What makes your program special?

It is our desire that our puppies all go to homes that will love, care, and enjoy them as much as we do. Our Yorkies are raised inside our non-smoking homes as part of our families. Yorkies love being with their families which is why we allow ours to live indoors with us, go on car rides with us, sit at soccer games, stroll around while waiting for choir practice to be over and generally just be a part of our everyday lives as much as possible. We will never sell to a puppy mill or pet store and retain the right to refuse any sale we feel isn't a good match.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tan, black and tan, blue and gold, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
