I'm Maggie P., the breeder behind M Bar M Border Collies located in Williston, FL. We breed Border Collies whose lines have been chosen to make rally, obedience, agility and herding prospects. They do well in companion homes with those who know the breed and their needs also. Do to the performance and herding lines, these are very active dogs and need an active involved owner.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mom's sister was a breeder and judge and l grew up helping her. I have had dogs all my life and always used them on our ranch. I have always been especially interested in genetics and knowing what allows different traits to pass through.
  • What makes your program special?

    I feel that the health and temperament l select for in my lines make my dogs outstanding individuals.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue merle, red merle, black, lilac, red, and slate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Maggie

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Deposits will not be taken until we know we have a puppy that will suit you. We do work off a waiting list. A deposit is due when we know we have a pup in a litter that will suit your needs.”

Maggie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
