I'm Stefanie W., the breeder behind Macy Golden Meadows located in Macy, IN. We enjoy showing our dogs, & they are our companions in every adventure. We do all we can to give our dogs & pups the best lives. Our program is dedicated to only breeding dogs that we know are exemplary representations of the standard and will make a positive contribution to their line and to the families who love them. We care deeply about our dogs and puppies, and we want only the best for them and for our buyers.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Growing up, I was raised with golden retrievers. I have always had a special place in my heart for them. To be able to give the joy that I had as a child growing up with a golden to other families is such a blessing for me.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our litters are raised inside our home with our 3 children.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Stefanie

Stefanie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Stefanie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Stefanie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    Stefanie was very responsive and caring. You can tell she puts a lot of work and love into the process. We had no issues, communication was GREAT. We received weekly photos of our girl too! She has been nothing, but healthy and energetic since we got her. We were searching for a puppy for awhile and I knew this was the one. It worked out so smooth, worth the 4 hour drive!!

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Experience with Macy Meadow Goldens We had such a wonderful experience with Stefanie and Macy Meadow Goldens from beginning to end. It was very important to me to find a breeder who truly loved and cared for their puppies, and I especially appreciated that the litter was raised right in their family home, surrounded by Stefanie, her husband, and their three children. It was obvious from the beginning that these puppies were not simply being raised—they were being loved, handled, socialized, and made part of the family. Stefanie was wonderful to work with. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, always answering my questions thoroughly and getting back to me in a timely manner. I also really respected how much care she put into learning about the families and homes her puppies would be going to. Her application and screening process were extensive, which gave me even more confidence that the well-being of her dogs truly comes first. What has impressed me just as much is that her care didn’t end when we brought our puppy home. Stefanie has continued to stay in contact, check in on us, and be available for questions as Geno settles into our family. We absolutely adore our Geno.
