I'm Stephanie H., the breeder behind Made to Love Maltese LLC located in Mc Kinney, TX. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets for those seeking the best family companion! We raise our dogs in our home right alongside our family. They received top quality care and nutrition to ensure they get off to the very best start in life.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have a passion for the Maltese breed and want to produce sound and healthy fur babies for families to cherish and love.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are very meticulous about how our Maltese are cared for. We take the dogs nutrition very seriously and we offer top quality food and home cooked meals for all of our dogs. From the time each baby is born it’s lovingly cared for and it’s every need is attended to. We offer a one year health guarantee against all congenital diseases. Your puppy will come to you with a vet certificate of health.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Stephanie

Stephanie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Stephanie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $4,000 - $8,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Full Embark Panel, Animal Genetics Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    From the moment I contacted Stephanie I knew I had found my dream breeder. The knowledge that Stephanie has about the breed, her breeding program, her sires and dams, her genetic testing… Made to Love Maltese is everything you want in a breeder. From the time I picked out my malty baby until the day he arrived with his flight nanny from Texas, I would receive daily pictures, videos, and updates on Keo. Stephanie was available day and night to answer questions, give me suggestions for beds, toys, food, etc, send some extra pictures if I wanted… anything that I could think of Stephanie was only a call or text away. When Keo arrived he was almost fully pee pee pad trained, he knew his name, he was socialized, he was and is a dream of a furbaby! What I was extra impressed with is how Stephanie’s family socializes her pups. Her children are happily active in these puppies lives and that makes such a difference. You could tell immediately that Keo was loved by Stephanie and her family. Stephanie kept in close contact with me the first few weeks that I had Keo, making sure that he was ok and that I was caring for him in the manner that best suited him. I love knowing that Made to Love Maltese had Keo's best interests in mind and that their care and concern for him didn’t end when he arrived in my arms. Keo is a very healthy, gorgeous Maltese. I don’t have to worry about his health because Stephanie has her breeding stock health tested, which is so so important. I know my baby came to me without genetic issues, something you won't find when you purchase from a lot of breeders and certainly from your local pet store. I have since purchased another beautiful malty baby from Stephanie. I know that my relationship with Made to Love Maltese doesn’t end when I receive my baby, and instead will be a life long bond that has been formed and I cherish it.     We thought we would never have another Maltese again after the sudden passing of our 9 year old, Popcorn on July 7, 2024.
