I'm Jennifer W., the breeder behind Madra's Dashing Doxies located in Norwood, MO. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Dachshund breeders. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, brindle, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Jennifer

Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jennifer partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,400 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Our prices include a 2 yr health guarantee, up to date on vaccinations and deworming as well as pre-spoiled. We start litter box and potty pad training. They are seen by our vet twice for wellness check and do not travel without health certificates. They are microchipped which is pre-paid and prepaid AKC limited registration. We also include a very nice puppy starter pack with blanket, special toy, treats and all health paperwork. And of course lifetime breeder support . Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another puppy/litter within 12 months."

Jennifer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Jennifer was really responsive and helped me a lot with how to adjust the puppy to a new environment, especially when I already have a wiener dog! She was able to meet me so I could pick the puppy up and it was really sweet because she gave me a big box with a ton of puppy treats and toys and blankets and potty pads and waste bags and so much more to make sure my new puppy had everything he needed for his new home. I had already bought a lot of stuff, but there were a few things I was missing that she provided, and I never even asked. You can also tell the puppy was really well taken care of. She was able to bathe him before I picked him up and he just wanted lots of love and cuddles. Any questions I had she was able to answer. She was very straightforward on the process and the pricing. And made it a really easy process! I would highly recommend considering Jennifer for your next puppy purchase! She definitely knows what she’s doing and you can see it in the way she cares as well!     Jennifer is not just the Breeder who brought me my 'Bella', she has become a very dear friend to us, as she is extremely empathetic, humane and fair! She has always been very kind and asks when we need her. She gave us all her support from beginning to end. Not to mention when she gave us our baby, she also gave us a beautiful basket with a layette for "Bella" to start her life with us.
