Tom & Margaret partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

+5When we decided to get a Lab puppy and came across Margaret and Tom, we reached out right away to try to get a pup. Margaret responded so quickly, answered all of my questions, provided helpful information, and walked me through what the process would look like. After we committed to the puppy, she sent weekly photos as the puppies grew over the next 6–7 weeks. Receiving those photos was so exciting, and we were already falling in love with our sweet dog weeks before we even met her. Communication was flawless throughout the entire process! Margaret even gave us recommendations for hotels and restaurants in the area since we were coming from seven hours away. When we arrived at their home, Tom and Margaret walked us through the process of selecting our puppy, was patient with us and we immediately fell in love with the most adorable pup. It has now been three months since we brought our new best friend home, and she is turning into a beautiful, happy, well-behaved, and incredibly healthy dog. She is also learning commands so quickly! We can’t thank Margaret and Tom enough for helping bring our Goldie into our lives.

We could not have asked for a better experience than what we had with Margaret & Tom 💕 From the second day our pup was born we received regular photos/videos and updates on how she was growing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience working with Tom and Margaret to get our precious girl Luna! She is absolutely amazing. She got potty training down in a lil over a week, she walks with the harness and leash well. She has learned sit, spin, and stay in about ten minutes. She is so calm and she loves kids as well as other animals. Tom and Margaret were so informative and they always kept me in the loop. They constantly sent pics so we could see her grow. Thank you for allowing us to have one of your pups. She has filled a hole in our hearts she didn’t create and we are so grateful.
