Meet the breeder

I'm Danielle, the breeder behind Magnolia Dachshunds located in Vista, CA. Our parents are health tested through Embark against a full panel of disorders in addition to DNA testing, which ensures we are breeding responsibly. Puppies will go home to you up to date on their shots and a clean bill of health, ready to begin their forever journey with you!

Q. & A. with Danielle

  • Why did you start breeding?

In my search for reputable and ethical Dachshund breeders for my first puppy, I found it increasingly difficult to locate the right fit - lack of responsiveness, an unwillingness to showcase where the puppies live, and a lack of care for the puppies themselves. My goal was to change it from a transaction to a team effort, with the end goal being the best home for my puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

We truly are a small breeder - our dogs are our family and will remain with us after they are retired. Our goal is to produce quality dogs for quality families, and our top priority is to send you home with a puppy that exceeds expectations. We want to keep you as involved as possible in your puppies life, from birth to its 'gotcha day'.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
