Meet the breeder

I'm Jonathan L., the breeder behind Magnolia Grace Kennels located in Mauk, GA. Our dogs are bred based on genetics and testing with a focus on great family temperament. We only provide one to two litters a year, pending vet approval. All of the puppies are exposed to different distractions during playtime and mealtime. We also start with potty training and socialization from a young age. All dogs are AKC papered, vet checked, up to date on immunizations, and dewormed biweekly along with mom.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding because I wanted to have more puppies for my kids, so they could each have their own dog, and it turned into a loving passion as we got to play and know the puppies as time went on. I soon found myself addicted, and what started as a passion quickly became a commitment to raising healthy, well-tempered dogs that are raised with care and purpose.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes our breeding program unique is that our dachshunds are raised in our home, around kids, and everyday life. They are very loved, as my daughter makes sure to hold and cuddle up to each of them multiple times a day. We focus on temperament just as much as health, so our puppies grow into confident, loving family dogs - not kennel dogs.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $3,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes a one-year health guarantee, AKC registration, new puppy guide, 3-generation lineage, blanket, chew toys, and 1 month of food. This deposit will hold your puppy until 8 weeks of age. If more time is needed, please contact us for arrangements. All puppies are priced equally, so there is no price difference with coat colors, as we do not believe that it is fair just because a dog is born with a coat pattern as others usually do. We might be able to work on the price with communication. We are fine with FaceTime and puppy visits as well.”
