Meet the breeder

I'm Tina T., the breeder behind Magnolia Roots Miniature Dachshunds located in Quitman, MS. Magnolia Roots Mini Dachshunds is a family-run breeding program in Mississippi. Our CKC Miniature Dachshunds are raised in our home with love, hands-on care, and early socialization. We strive to raise happy, well-loved puppies and build lasting relationships with our puppy families.

Q. & A. with Tina

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for dachshunds began with Stevie, my blind and deaf double dapple Standard Dachshund. Loving him taught me so much about this special breed. After losing Stevie, Pilgrim came into my life as a gift and deepened that love. Over time, I felt inspired to raise Miniature Dachshunds and help other families experience the same incredible companionship that has meant so much to mine. 🌿🐾
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised in our home as part of our family, receiving hands-on care, individual attention, and early socialization. We focus on preparing each puppy for life with their forever family while building lasting relationships with our puppy families. Our commitment continues beyond go-home day with lifetime breeder support. Raised with Love. Rooted in Family. 🌿🐾
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, chocolate, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
