Please try not to change your puppy’s food right away. We feed TLC Pet Food and have had great luck with it. Since switching, our puppies have had much fewer tummy issues and loose stools. If you’d like to keep them on the same food, you can order it directly—it really helps keep their little tummies happy while they adjust to their new home. When you order they send enough that it will probably last you six month. https://tlcpetfood.com/nutrition/magnoliasmallbreeds

🌸 Magnolia Small Breeds Litter Box Training Guide For Your Sweet Shih Tzu Puppy At Magnolia Small Breeds, our puppies begin litter box training at 6 weeks of age using: • A small cat litter pan• Natural wood (pine) litter pellets Your puppy already understands the basics — now we simply continue the routine in your home. 🌿 Step 1: Start Small Set your puppy up in a small, safe area at first:• Playpen• Laundry room• Gated kitchen• Puppy-safe bathroom Place the litter box in one corner, away from food and water. Puppies naturally prefer a separate potty space. ⏰ Step 2: Take Them Often Gently place your puppy in the litter box: • First thing in the morning• After naps• After meals• After playtime Use a calm phrase like:“Go potty.” Consistency is key. 🎉 Step 3: Praise Softly When your puppy uses the litter box: • Offer calm, happy praise• Gentle petting• Say “Good potty!” No big excitement needed — just warm encouragement. 🚫 Step 4: If There’s an Accident • Do not scold.• Simply clean the area well.• Place your puppy in the litter box to reinforce the location. Routine builds understanding. 🧼 Step 5: Keep It Clean • Scoop daily.• Replace pellets as needed. Puppies prefer a clean space — and clean boxes mean fewer accidents. 🐾 Step 6: Slowly Increase Space Once your puppy is using the litter box consistently: • Gradually allow access to more of the house.• Always keep the litter box accessible. 💛 A Magnolia Reminder Shih Tzus are smart, sensitive, and eager to please. With consistency, patience, and kindness, most of our Magnolia puppies transition beautifully within the first 2–3 weeks in their new homes. If you ever have questions, I am always here to help. With love,Stephanie StillMagnolia Small Breeds

Stephanie is incredible person & breeder. Going into this process was nerve wracking as I had never found a pup online. I was coming newly from a sad situation where the pup passed just prior to coming home. Stephanie was available, informative and supportive. She was open to all my questions and very responsive. She went above and beyond to get our Murphy home. Just prior to his departure his travel plans changed and neither of us were sure if he would make it home to NY. Stephanie went above and beyond endlessly searching for a safe way for Murphy to make it home. These pups are her family and now we are family as well. Murphy is a dream.

I’m so blessed to have our little guy with us. He’s a furball of love, silliness, playfulness, calmness, and happiness. Stephanie is an experienced breeder, always answered any questions that I had with so much knowledge. The entire process was quick and easy. The transition for our baby boy was smooth and effortless. I am so thankful that we were able to bring home our new guy and show him the love plus more that he had with his mom, dad & litttermates. He’s been a joy to us all and we have so much love and adoration to give him. Thank you Stephanie for being so kind as to accept us as his new family.

What a pleasure it was going through the process of finding my perfect new best friend with Stephanie and Magnolia Small Breeds. Stephanie helped me navigate the process and once I found Posie, she kept me updated with pictures and videos on how my puppy was doing every step of the way until it was time for Posie to come home. If you are looking for a puppy that comes from a clean happy background Magnolia Small Breeds is the place! So thankful I found them!

Stephanie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so responsive and even sent puppy photos while we waited for our puppy. Her dogs are incredibly sweet and clearly well socialized. She was so amazing that I recommended her and her dogs to my mom who also has one from her now too. I would 100% purchase from her again and recommend her and her pups to anyone. Thank you, Stephanie!!
