I'm Rachel R., the breeder behind Magnolia Tzus located in Rockville Centre, NY. Our dogs are all cared for in a loving home. We begin holding them the day they are born. They grow up with mom’s care in our living room. All of our puppies are well socialized with great temperaments, beautiful coats, exceptional health, and are registered with American Kennel Club.
Q. & A. with Rachel
Why did you start breeding?
With the passing of my Shih Tzu of 18 years, I decided I wanted to bring the joy she brought me to others. I am a stay at home mom and I sell real estate. Raising Shih Tzus brings me a lot of fulfillment and happiness. All of our puppies are part of our family before going to their new homes to join yours. It is my honor to raise and care for them before being chosen by their new family.
What makes your program special?
I have a very small breeding program. All mothers and fathers live inside of our home. The puppies are raised in our living room so they get used to sounds sights, and smells and become very socialized. We hold them from the first day of birth and every day until leaving. They have exceptional health, genetics, and temperament. Our puppies see a vet and are vaccinated before leaving.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
