I'm Jessie S., the breeder behind Magpie Springs Australian Shepherds located in Dillon, MT. We are a couple of folks with two amazing dogs, Kiva and Summit. Both dogs are family dogs that enjoy the adventures that mountain life allows: creek swimming, mountain hiking, camping, backpacking. Both dogs have clear genetic panels. Mom has good hips and elbows. Dad had not been tested.

Thank you everyone. All the puppies have gone to their new homes. Last litter we created a group text with everyone on it and checked in about quarterly to see updates. Let me know if you do not want to be on that list. For those that do I will be sending out a text asking for a photo and your puppies new name.🥰

Took puppy photos today! First pup Luna left tonight and three - four more leave tomorrow!

Summit and Kiva's litter

After cleaning up the night time messes and pups having breakfast they head out to the greenhouse, about 6am, and play like crazy. I caught them on the tail end in this video so not as wild. With all 8 together they are definitely little monsters. Lots of biting and chewing on us…so will take some work and toys to get them over that. Flick on the nose, loud directed PSST!, whatever.

Puppies got to play in Gypsy’s bean bag last night. It was big hit!

We had a Puppy Brunch today with friends so everyone could get their snuggles and puppy breath in before pups start heading home.

As we near pick-up day I wanted to let you know what I’ll be sending home with your pup. Pee pad, kennel blanket, health records, 1 gallon bag of puppy food, large stuffy toy, rope toy, chew toy, harness, and leash. You will need to upgrade your leash pretty soon but this should get you until then. I’m so excited for you all to have these beautiful pups in your lives!🥰.

We cannot say enough good things about Jessie and her family at magpie Springs Australian Shepherds. We got a black tri from them in December 2023 and he is absolutely the best dog ever! He has the sweetest most gentle temperament and is an amazing family dog. I highly recommend Jessie and her family and their puppies.

Our experience with Jessie was such a pleasure from the beginning. She was so easy to communicate with and really went out of her way to accommodate our needs timing wise on getting the puppy and meeting halfway (or all the way!) for meet and greets/ puppy drop offs. I am so incredibly happy with our experience and I truly wouldn’t change a thing. And our sweet new puppy was and continues to be one of the best things to happen to our family. Swift is such a good natured family dog for my 3 boys. I cannot recommend Jessie and Magpie Springs enough!

Jessie was very kind and great with giving updates on the puppies! I loved getting to see my dog grow before I got him! She made the whole process very smooth.

Jessie took the worry out of bringing a new puppy into our family. She went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and is so knowledgeable about the breed. With our puppy, we got more than we deserve. She is a happy, healthy, and well-behaved dog and we couldn't have asked for more. Jessie really cares about her dogs and the breeding process. We look forward to getting our second dog from her.
