I'm Brendan and Masun M., the breeder behind Mahner Labs located in Tomahawk, WI. Beautiful Labrador Retrievers. I focus on long-term health and structure and strive to provide top-quality pups for loving families. Our dogs receive genetic screening to ensure healthy puppies. Puppies are exposed to different sounds, smells, and animals.

Why did you start breeding?
My partner and I met while both of us owned AKC dogs. A lab and a golden retriever, we both already had our own small scale plans of breeding.What makes your program special?
We want to build a connection and stay in touch with our puppies new homes, we love getting updated pics!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Brendan and Masun partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Judge is a wonderful boy, he has the perfect Labrador temperament. The dual off-switch where he can have enough energy to participate in fun or sporting activities, but is also content to lie down and relax. He loves going on runs to the creek all on his own. He is a champion of Canada in conformation, and he is working on completing his AKC championship as well! Judge has been screened and cleared for hip and elbow dysplasia, has a clear genetic panel, and has had his heart echocardiogram and multiple eye examinations.

Many of his puppies inherit his gorgeous blocky head and goofy personality. Red was screened and cleared of hip and elbow dysplasia and has been tested for inheritable diseases to ensure his puppies don’t develop any!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

+8We have had our sweet Georgia Mae for two and a half weeks now, and she has been an absolute joy! She is a gorgeous puppy with an amazing temperament and is extremely smart. She learns so quickly, at just a couple of weeks home, she already has great recall, sit, place, lay down, and a few other fun tricks down! Pick-up was smooth, and working with Masun was a wonderful experience. Masun was super communicative throughout the entire process, and we never felt left out of the loop. It was so special getting to follow along from start to finish. We are so in love with her and can't wait to see what the years ahead bring us with our baby girl!
