I'm Laura R., the breeder behind Majestic Embrace Poodles located in Licking, MO. We breed our puppies in our home. Our program is focused on producing puppies that are healthy, well-structured, and good companions. We have the medium import and miniature poodles. Our Medium imports are from the FCI kennel club that is located outside the USA. Our poodles are registered AKC.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Since falling in love with the red/apricot medium line, we have realized how rare and special they are. We want to help preserve this beautiful breed and size. Our line is full of champions from around the world.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am a preservation breeder dedicated to Medium Import FCI Red/ Apricot poodles registered AKC. We also breed miniature poodles. Our line ranges between 15 and 19 inches & 18-30 pounds. The boys range from 16-19 inches, & the girls range from 15-17 inches. We also have miniature poodles. Let us know what you are looking for.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and moyen sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Laura

Laura has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Laura partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“First we have tests done to see which puppies are breeding quality. We have two reservations for breeding quality females in this litter. So the remaining females will have a later matching date. The males could be matched earlier this litter. I may match puppies earlier depending on my decision. So you can feel free to ask about a puppy. Downpayments can be made as soon as puppies are born. But if you would like to be higher on a reservation list you will need to contact and talk to me before the pups are born. I will be doing a long dock on their tails and leaving the dew claws in tact. I have done my reserch on this and this is better for the puppy in the long run and for my program. ”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,125 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
