Meet the breeder

I'm Allyssa M., the breeder behind Makkr Ridge Dobermans LLC located in Robinson, PA. I'm the breeder behind Makkr Ridge Dobermans. I breed top quality european lines. All of my puppies are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have well rounded temperaments and excel in many fields of work. Whether that be conformation, working sports, agility or as family companions. I focus on longevity, health, temperament and strive to produce a well rounded Doberman that can be versatile in many ways.

Q. & A. with Allyssa

  • Why did you start breeding?

As a child, I’ve always had a deep love for animals especially dogs. After over 15 years of owning Dobermans, I began diving into pedigrees, investing in quality dogs, and eventually started breeding. It’s something I truly enjoy and take a lot of pride in. One of the most rewarding parts is seeing the smiles and excitement on my puppy families’ faces when they meet their new companion. Over the years, I’ve built close relationships with many of my families so much so that many of them feel like extended family. That’s what makes all of this so worth it.
  • What makes your program special?

I breed top quality European lines with a strong focus on structure, health, and temperament. My goal is to produce well rounded Dobermans that are not only structurally sound and healthy, but also intuitive and capable of excelling in a variety of roles. Whether in the conformation ring, working sports, agility, or as loyal family companions, my dogs are bred for versatility. I place a heavy emphasis on longevity, stability, and overall soundness, striving to produce Dobermans that can thrive in many different environments and lifestyles.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
