I'm Allyssa M., the breeder behind Makkr Ridge Dobermans LLC located in Robinson, PA. I'm the breeder behind Makkr Ridge Dobermans. I breed top quality european lines. All of my puppies are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have well rounded temperaments and excel in many fields of work. Whether that be conformation, working sports, agility or as family companions. I focus on longevity, health, temperament and strive to produce a well rounded Doberman that can be versatile in many ways.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    As a child I've always had a huge love for animals especially dog's. After 15 years of owning dobermans I researched pedigrees, purchased quality dogs and started breeding. I genuinely enjoy it. I love seeing the smiles, excitement on my puppy families faces when they meet their companion. I have become very close to many of my puppy families. Many are like family to me. It makes it all worth it.

  • What makes your program special?

    I breed top quality european lines. All of my puppies are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have well rounded temperaments and excel in many fields of work. Whether that be conformation, working sports, agility or as family companions. I focus on longevity, health, temperament and strive to produce a well rounded Doberman that can be versatile in many ways.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Allyssa

Allyssa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Prices vary depending upon litter Price includes crop, dock, vaccinations, dewormings, and microchipping. 3 year health guarantee with a signed contract. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is needed to reserve a puppy. The 3 year health guarantee contract must be signed prior to placing a deposit on one of our puppies. A 📞 interview is required to apply."

Parent health testing

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Full Embark Panel, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Dilated Cardiomyopathy 1 (DCM1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
