I'm Sheila R., the breeder behind MaltaAngel located in Pine Grove, CA. We are home-based Maltese breeders and exhibitors. We offer top-quality, loving puppies from phenomenal bloodlines. We were the first Maltese Breeder to receive an AKC Breeder of Merit recognition and are proud members and past Vice President and Board member of the American Maltese Association. We carefully plan each litter from health-tested parents that are excellent representations of the standard. We can't wait to connect with you!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    It is important to us that we not only preserve our own phenomenal bloodlines, but that we are improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of the Maltese for generations more to come. It has been such a rewarding, fulfilling journey!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are recognized for their elegant movement, beauty, sound structure, and sweet, loving temperaments. They have the ability to excel in the show ring AND at home as the best family companions. We take our role as breeders seriously by making sure each puppy gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization, but it starts even earlier than birth. We set our puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter. We are happy to tell you more about what life with a Maltese is like and how they will not only enhance your daily life, but exceed your expectations!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
