I'm Valerie K., the breeder behind Maltese By Valerie located in Wilson, NY. Our dogs excel in the ring and as beloved companions. We are very proud of their accomplishments and those of their puppies. When we bring a life into the world, we make sure it gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. We set our puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, conformation, ability, and drive. Our goal is to produce well-balanced puppies and find them loving, responsible homes.

Why did you start breeding?
Coming from a generational dog family, I was brought up in dog sportsWhat makes your program special?
I fully support recommendations of the American Maltese Association in my health testing of breeding dogs. My dogs are bred as close to the AKC Maltese standard as possible and I strive to improve with every litter. I have finished several AKC Champions.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
