Meet the breeder

I'm Laura S., the breeder behind Maple Ridge Farm located in Goldsboro, NC. Our Miniature Aussie family started in 2018. We grew our Aussie family again in 2020 and 2022. We love this breed and saw a need in our community for Mini Aussie puppies, so we started our small, family farm and home raised, veterinary run, quality Mini Aussie puppy breeding program.

Q. & A. with Laura

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our Miniature Aussie family started in 2018 with Alex and Allie. We grew our Miniature Aussie family again in 2020 with the addition of Allie’s first born, Ava. We added a gorgeous liver red tri male with hazel eyes to our family in 2022, as our breeding stud.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are our family. We raise our puppies in our home and on our farm with daily handling. We are veterinary owned and operated and perform thorough genetic and radiographic screenings of all of our breeding dogs. We may be partial, but we have the prettiest mini Aussie puppies around!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

The puppy was exactly as advertised. Was able to checkout the mother and father. Was easy to see that all of their animals are very well taken care of. If I wasn’t planning on breeding him in the future I would get another from them.
