I'm Dan R., the breeder behind Maridan Labradors located in Laredo, TX. I breed beautiful English Labrador Retrievers with a focus on intelligence, temperament, calmness, and health. Each of my breedings dogs is evaluated for health issues to make sure they will produce healthy puppies. I ensure all of my puppies are socialized and prepared to excel in their forever homes. My dogs are bred for those specifics, and I take pride in my breeding program.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for English Labrador Retrievers inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. Labs have proven to be wonderful companions in my life, and it is a privilege to share that love and friendship with others.What makes your program special?
I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
