Every now and then someone messages me about a puppy and says, “That price is too high — it’s just going to be a beloved pet.” Here’s what I need people to understand: ALL of my puppies go to homes as beloved pets. That’s literally the point. Calling a puppy a “beloved pet” doesn’t magically make the cost of raising a quality puppy go down. It doesn’t change the weeks of around-the-clock care, the grooming, the feeding, the cleanup, the socialization, the structure, the beauty, or the years of experience it takes to produce the kind of puppies I produce. If anything, a beloved pet is exactly what you should be budgeting properly for. This is a 16-year family member, not a seasonal decoration. So when someone tells me my price is too much because it’s “just a pet,” it honestly makes no sense. My puppies aren’t priced based on someone’s personal budget — they’re priced based on the quality, effort, and dedication behind them. If someone wants the cheapest option, it exists. If someone wants a well-raised, beautiful, healthy companion backed by a breeder who supports you for life — that’s what I offer. Quality isn’t a bargain bin item. 🐶✨
