Q. & A. with Marjorie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved animals from a young age, thus having many pets over the years. When I married and had children, I wanted them to have the same loving bond with animals that my parents had fostered in me. I wanted my children to experience the joy of life through the birth of puppies and from that first litter I was hooked. I have always been a hobby breeder of either dogs or cats. In the nineties, I bred Persian Himalayan cats for eleven years, with a litter of puppies here and there. I love the challenge of breeding intelligent, athletic, fine temperament, and healthy dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. When I bring a life into the world, I make sure it gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. I set my puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, intelligence, and beauty. My goal is to choose parents whose genes will bring out the best qualities in each other and produce well-balanced puppies. If you are looking for the perfect, quality companion, look no further!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include wheaten, white, parti, liver, salt and pepper, black and silver, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We highly recommend Marjorie’s Simply Schnauzers. We got our sweet girl, Lucy, from her. Lucy is everything the breed should be - smart, happy, and beautiful. The experience was perfect. She does everything right, from health testing to early socialization. She also gives the best goody bag💖. Her puppies are raised in a loving and caring home environment. She was the absolute perfect breeder for us and will be for you too. Our Lucy is healthy, smart, and has the best temperament. Thank you for our perfect girl!

Marjorie was a pleasure to work with! She was very responsive and knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions and helping me with my needs and working with this website for the first time as well! Rolston now Biscuit, is an amazing boy already! He is very sweet and well-mannered and is such a little cuttle-bug and just loves to be around and affectionate with us. He has blended in with not only our family but our other 4 legged babies perfectly! Thank you for everything!

Marjorie is very compassionate and knowledgeable about breeding Schnauzer, and it shows, my Stoney is a smart and loving handsome pup, all because of Marjorie and the loving care for her babies. Marjorie has this breeding down to a science, she make sure you are a loving person, after all your taking home one of her babies. I may add that I was skeptical to go through Good day with my funds, but she assured me that it’s safe. Thank you again Marjorie. I love Stoney and so do my family, Major is happy he has a brother.🐾🐾

Review of Lancelot (aka Rocky)A brief history of myself: I have raised, adopted, and fostered at least 14 dogs through the years. I've taken professional K-9 training courses and worked on joint tasks with the SPCA police. I won't tell you why you should or shouldn't adopt a Miniature Schnauzer. If you are already on this page, chances are you've already done your research .So, why did I choose Marjorie and her breed? She's been doing this a long time! Experience in this industry is everything—and I mean everything. If a breeder has less than 10 years of experience, in my opinion, keep looking. The Schnauzer I received from Marjorie is smart. Of the 14 various dogs I've cared for, he is definitely in the top tier for intelligence at 6 months old. We had him almost fully house-trained within a month with only a handful of accidents. With my background in K-9 training, I closely watch a puppy's temperament. Rocky arrived confident, well-socialized, and completely unfazed by new environments—a clear sign of excellent early-life care and socializtion. The two major hurdles you are probably facing right now are initial cost and transportation costs. Long term, you are likely to save more money on vet bills by buying a puppy from a reputable breeder with a strong genetic bloodline. Marjorie was able to secure excellent transportation for my puppy a week before Christmas from Kentucky to Philly for only $250. I was getting quotes online for three times that price! Don't take a gamble on a backyard breeder just because they are local; do it the right way! You won't regret it!
