Shay was a pleasure to work with. She answered any and all questions in a timely manner. She is local to me so I was able to meet the puppies in person and find one that we felt had a great personality. All of the puppies were well taken care of and healthy. We picked sunny and Shay was in communication with us right up until the pick up day and after. She answered questions about food and care even after we took sunny( now lottie) home. Our Vet gives a complimentary DNA test which showed she is infact a shih tzu on both of her family lines which I had no questions about because she is a wonderful example of the breed. If you're looking for a shih tzu that is full of love with a great tempermant plus a breeder that cares about her puppies maryland shih tzus is a great breeder to go with. Furthermore, our vets DNA test also showed that sunny( lottie) passed all genetic health screenings. Thank you so much Shay for such a wonderful dog and experience.

This was our family’s first pup and we had the best experience with Shay from Maryland shih tzus. Our pup came pee-pad trained transitioned very well potty training in my house. Our pup is very well adjusted, lively and healthy and I credit Shay for providing a good foundational care as a breeder. My family is so in love with our puppy that we hope to bring home another one in the future and we are definitely coming back to Shay.

It was a pleasure working with Shay. It's been almost a week since I brought home a male shih tzu from her. He's just the cutest. Shay kept me informed every week with updates of Zeke formally known as Tales with updates and pictures. She was very informative and answered any of my concerns. She reunited me with a childhood pet I had. I would definitely work with her again and recommend Shay to others.

I highly recommend Shay as a breeder! She was incredibly responsive, answering all of my questions and concerns with care, and kept me consistently updated throughout the process. Shay also sent my puppy home with a thoughtful goodie bag that included her updated vet records, food, a cozy blanket, and a toy to help with the transition. My puppy adjusted beautifully her first night—sleeping comfortably in her crate and already showing strong socialization skills, which speaks volumes about the quality of care and early development Shay provides. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Shay to anyone looking for a loving and reputable breeder!

Shay was absolutely wonderful to work with! We can only have Shih Tzu’s and never thought a perfect match would be so close to home. She was so responsive even letting us pick up Knuckles early as we just could not wait. I would recommend working with her on your next puppy purchase… I know I will when we are ready again 💕
