Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with Mini Dachshunds after getting my first two in 2024. While searching for AKC puppies in 2025, I realized I wanted to start my own breeding program. With the help of my mentor, husband, and loved ones, I learned everything I could—and now, we’re proud to begin our first year in the breeding world!What makes your program special?
What makes our breeding program special is the full-time care and love we give. Being home daily allows us to raise our puppies in a family-friendly environment, ensuring each one—and every mom and dad—is healthy, socialized, and deeply loved. I also enjoy connecting personally with every future puppy parent.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Price
"The total price includes puppy registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and a go home bag. Nonrefundable $500 deposit on every single dog no matter the total price. This deposit holds the dog reserved for you and pays for its first round of shots and deworming."

Honey Lou is our most loving and calm dog here at Mavericks Mini Dachshunds. She is SO cuddly and just so well mannered. However we will know someone has arrived before they’ve made it to the door, she’s our personal alarm system! She is well behaved and follows commands well. She’s going to be a great mama!
