Meet the breeder

I'm Amber O., the breeder behind May May’s Shih Tzu’s located in Jefferson, OH. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. Q. & A. with Amber

  • Why did you start breeding?

About 13 years ago I adopted my first Shih Tzu, Bella. I was over come with the love an affection these little dogs have. The breeder we have got 2 of our Shih Tzu's from asked me, with as much as you love these little dogs and with grown children, I may want to consider becoming a breeder. She has been a great mentor. This has filled me with so much joy.
  • What makes your program special?

These are not just dogs, they are my babies and I make sure in every way possible they are to be raise healthy, and well tempered puppies. My goal is to find all our puppies loving homes, as much as I would love them if I kept every puppy.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, black and white, gold and white, and brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
