



I'm Ashley M., the breeder behind McAbee’s Golden Retrievers located in Belton, SC. Our dogs are bred to be excellent family companions as well great working dogs. We strive for amazing health and temperament with an overall focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. Golden Retrievers are a very intelligent and unique breeds, and we are excited to educate others on care and all of their amazing qualities! Our main goal is to produce healthy family pets and with excellent health tested lines.

Bailey is a gentle laid back, go with the flow girl. She loves meeting new people and dogs. Bailey does excellent with her obedience and strives to please her people. She loves to go on walks and being outdoors. She is perfectly content with being cuddled up with you on the couch she doesn't have to do a whole lot in her day-to-day activities. She loves to play with balls and toys and running around outside with her furry brothers and sisters.

Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
