I love being a breeder. It's so fulfilling to have the opportunity to create companionship and love and to see the positive effect that a beloved, furry companion can have on its family.

Why did you start breeding?
I became a lover of Dachshunds! The breed holds a special place in my heart and it's a privilege to share that love and friendship with others. It's a personal passion and hobby of mine to help spread love and joy through breeding!
What makes your program special?
I am passionate about Dachshunds, and my love for these dogs shines through in every aspect of my breeding program. I work hard so my puppies can leave my home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Melissa

Melissa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $500 - $600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price is $700 for females and $800 for males. There's is a $200 deposit due once puppies are born and picked out.”

Contract & health guarantee

Melissa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
