Meet the breeder

I'm Shelly M., the breeder behind McDermon Shelties located in Union, NJ. Our Shelties are beautiful, intelligent, healthy, and too cute! Our dam, sire and litter are AKC registered.

Q. & A. with Shelly

  • Why did you start breeding?

We decided to at least have 1 litter for my kids, They always wanted puppies and we fell in love with the breed, Shetland Sheepdogs, because of our Molly and Henry.
  • What makes your program special?

These are our family pets and do not breed just for selling puppies. If we let Molly have another litter it will at least be in a year or two. We give all the love and care as if they were our babies 🐶🐾🐾
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable and white and sable merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Shelly was so responsive and knowledgeable about the breed. I can tell she really cares about their dogs. We always keep in touch via messages, and I sent her DK's photos. Good Dog made the process so easy. It also prevented me from meeting with scammers. I am glad I found my Shelties - DK from Shelly. DK is a really good boy and listened, boy.
