I'm Marcie H., the breeder behind ME Kennels located in Pueblo, CO. I offer top-quality puppies that have been socialized and loved on from the day they were born. My breeding dogs are treated with love and kindness. They come and go in and out of the house as they please. The puppies are cared for in the house until 3-4 weeks of age, then they are moved out to the puppy house. They are handled from the day they are born by our 5 children, my husband, and myself.
Q. & A. with Marcie
Why did you start breeding?
We used to have Labs and they passed away within three months of each other. We were all very sad and decided to get another dog. After reading about the mini Aussies, we decided to get one. We first got our male, Jax, and just fell in love with the him. We then decided to spread the love by breeding them and offering people wonderful pets. We try very hard to have top-quality puppies.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding dogs are part of our family and are treated as such. Our puppies are very well socialized by the time they go to their new homes. They are introduced to different surfaces such as grass, rocks, concrete, and dirt. They all get out of their big pen and get to explore our 1-acre lot every day. We love having them around, loving on them, and playing with them.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
