  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been drawn to the Pomeranian. I wanted to produce true to standard puppies that could be loved and enjoyed for everyone.
  • What makes your program special?

Each dog is different, and I take the time to study their pedigrees and personalities, deciding on the best Pomeranians to breed together for color, temperament, and health.

Our puppies include black and tan parti, black parti, orange, chocolate, black and tan, orange sable, blue merle, and beaver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

A new journey in our life began after losing our 8 1/2 yr old Pomeranian suddenly on January 4th. The pain consumed our life and nothing was the same. We prayed and asked our little Pom Sammy Bear to help us find another Pom to open our hearts to again. Going through Good Dogs brought me to Helen. We saw little Bo who was 9 weeks old and fell in love with him. Fortunately Helen was only a 3 hour drive away from us. Arranging the visit to meet little Bo was the best decision we made. We could not have asked for a more caring and loving breeder. We will forever be grateful to her and I know we will continue to share our Bo’s —now named Gunnar Boy—life’s journey with her🐾🩵

Helen was a joy to work with through the process of getting our new little girl. We visited her place a few weeks before picking our puppy up. You can tell that she really cares about all of her breeding dogs, and her home was very clean as well as the areas that she had her dogs for breeding. She sent me updated photos and videos of my little girl which was so helpful during that Time when we were so anxious to get her! Getting her home was great and she has been such a joy to have around our house. A very smart girl has learned all of her tricks and potty training so quickly! Helen has also been there for us with any questions since we’ve had the puppy home. If we ever get another Pomeranian, we will definitely be coming back to Medicine Lodge Poms!
