I'm Barbara W., the breeder behind Mending Hearts Shih Tzu's located in Wooster, OH. My puppies are hand-raised in my home. I put a lot of effort into socializing and caring for my adorable Shih Tzu puppies! I am dedicated towards achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and I'm always working to further my education so that I can continue to improve my breeding program. I want to do my part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and I strive to provide each of my puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My sister was a breeder and she was diagnosed with cancer and we decided to keep one of her dogs to continue the breeding aspect. All of our dogs are spoiled, loved on and cared for.

  • What makes your program special?

    Both the sire and dam reside in our home and their offspring are cared for by us continuously from the birthing process, to finding their forever homes-we absolutely LOVE hearing all the updates on the puppies we have had the pleasure to watch thrive into their loving forever homes.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include liver and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $1,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming and socialization. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of size and color. Prices include AKC registration and microchipping.”
