I'm Brooke E., the breeder behind Meraki Mini Hippos located in Jacksonville, AR. All of our puppies are raised in our home and are family to us. They are well-socialized, accustomed to the home, and so spoiled! We live on a 40-acre farm with lots of animals and lots of love. We adore all of our animals. It is a true joy to be able to share this adorable breed with others!
Q. & A. with Brooke
Why did you start breeding?
I have always had a passion for raising puppies and after helping a few fellow breeders whelp and raise their litters I decided breeding was a huge passion of mine and that I was going to devote myself to it. I chose to breed "Mini Hippos" because it gives me an opportunity to create healthier, well-socialized, and pre-loved puppies that can go on to make many families happy.
What makes your program special?
We raise all of our puppies using the Puppy Culture method. Also since I am a previous dog trainer I feel as if I have a great foundation to make sure the puppies are all well-socialized and started on important practices such as potty and crate training.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
