I'm Kjirsten B., the breeder behind Mercy Mountain Bernedoodles located in Colorado Springs, CO. As a small, in-home breeding program we are able to prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. Our passion is to breed excellent, healthy puppies for families and for therapy.

    We are passionate about breeding with excellence. Our mamas are loved in our home and we only breed them if they pass extensive genetic and health testing. The focus of our program is on breeding the best puppies for therapy and for families. *breeders reserves the right to keep back a puppy for her program at anytime before a deposit on a specific puppy is given.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include sable, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kjirsten

Kjirsten has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $2,550 - $3,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes our two year health guarantee and lifetime breeder support, first rounds of shots & full vet health physical, deworming, & microchip. ENS & advanced puppy curriculum. All our Bernedoodles are the same price regardless of sex and size. We do puppy picks in order of deposit at seven weeks after temperament testing & puppy health check with our repo vet.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
