Meet the breeder

I'm Nikki M., the breeder behind Merrimac Dobermans located in Pearland, TX. My focus is on excellence in every aspect of my breeding program. I offer top-quality Dobermans for show and pet homes. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability.

Q. & A. with Nikki

  • Why did you start breeding?

I bought my first Doberman and began obedience training. This led me to some “show and goes” where I met Doberman fanciers and joined the local club. I found a wonderful mentor who bred and handled Dobermans, and I eventually purchased my first Doberman show prospect. He was my first champion, and I began my journey into the world of Dobermans.
  • What makes your program special?

I have owned and bred Dobermans for forty years and have been fortunate to have many AKC titled Champions in Obedience and Conformation. I breed for the total Doberman in conformation, temperament, and health. Puppies are whelped and raised in my home with loving care and socialization. New homes are carefully selected. Placement in a good home as a family companion with a contract is required.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
