I'm Pam & Ted B., the breeder behind MerryHeart Shelties located in Warrenton, VA. I am a small, home-based breeder of show-quality Shelties! My goal is to produce a great representation of the Shetland Sheepdog and to continue improving the line with each generation. My priority is quality over quantity, and my puppies are placed in loving homes that I have reviewed carefully. I look forward to connecting with you!
Q. & A. with Pam & Ted
Why did you start breeding?
I want to do my part to better the breed. My breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Shetland Sheepdog while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation. My ultimate goal is to produce puppies from show-quality dogs that complement each other's beautiful traits! It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.
What makes your program special?
I have a passion for excellence and healthy family pets. I take great care with each breeding to ensure I am producing puppies that are excellent representations of the breed standard. Once a litter is on the ground and ready to go to their new homes, I am very conscious about who I rehome my puppies to and always ensure that each one goes to the best home possible complementary to its personality and ability. I would be honored to connect you with your next quality Sheltie pup!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
